Cartridge Choices Transferring LP to CD

When recording vinyl to CD I use a Technics turntable with my choice cartridge. I have three carts (DL103, M97xE, and AT440mla) that are great performers so it's easy to pick which to use for recording. Lately I have been using the DL103 to track vocals sides like June Christy or Keely Smith. For more recent recording or busier tracks I am use the AT440mla. I pull the M97xE when I am tracking horns or male vocals. Overall I am listening with the DL103 mostly and recording the AT440mla. It does a great job getting the most detail from the grooves. When the LPs are recorded to CDs using the Audio Technica cartridge the final tracks aren't as top bright during CD playback. Tags
